Free or Paid

Most of Metro’s Park & Ride lots include both free and paid reserved spaces. Free spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis for transit users. Metro also has reserved monthly parking at select locations and paid daily parking at the most high demand stations.

Metro offers monthly parking permits at select stations. Three different permits are available for purchase, depending on your need: METRO Monthly Permit, CARPOOL Monthly Permit, and the FLEX Permit. All parking permits can be purchased online.

To purchase a permit, you will need the following:

  1. Vehicle Information (make, model, color and license plate number)
  2. TAP Card number
  3. A valid Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover

Your license plate is your parking permit. There’s no need to print a temporary permit or display any decals on your vehicle.

Some parking facilities are in high demand and sell out quickly. If your desired facility is sold out, continue with the permit registration process to be placed on the waiting list.
