Traffic Control to Support Concrete and Material Deliveries for Wilshire/La Cienega Station

Concrete and material deliveries for the Wilshire/La Cienega Station are anticipated to begin early October 2019.

The following traffic control and work hours are anticipated to be in place October 2019 through April 2020*:

  • This traffic control will be in place to support the construction of the ground floor for the Wilshire/La Cienega Station.
  • Between 7am and 4pm, Wilshire Blvd. between San Vicente Blvd. and La Cienega Blvd. will be intermittently reduced to two lanes in each direction.
  • Between 10pm and 7am, Wilshire Blvd. between San Vicente Blvd. and La Cienega Blvd. will be intermittently reduced to one lane in each direction.
  • Left turns from Wilshire Blvd. to side streets may be restricted during these lane restrictions.
  • The contractor and Metro have requested starting night work at 8pm instead of 10pm. This will allow many of the noisier activities to be completed earlier.
  • Closures are anticipated to be in place 5 to 7 days per week, as needed.
