As part of the Federal government’s Coronavirus Guidance for America, transportation infrastructure is considered an “Essential Critical Infrastructure.” Additionally, transit capital projects are not subject to the State of California’s Stay at Home order, therefore Metro construction projects continue to progress.

Beginning Tuesday, September 8 and continuing through Friday, September 18, intermittent lane reductions will be implemented from 8pm to 7am at the Wilshire Blvd./La Cienega Blvd. intersection. This traffic control will support instrumentation readings within the intersection.

TRAFFIC CONTROL
- La Cienega Blvd.: Northbound La Cienega Blvd. between Gregory Way and Wilshire Blvd. will be reduced to two lanes. Southbound La Cienega Blvd. between Clifton Way and Wilshire Blvd. will be reduced to a single lane.
- Wilshire Blvd.: Westbound Wilshire Blvd. will be reduced to two lanes between Hamilton Dr. and Stanley Dr. Eastbound Wilshire Blvd. will be reduced to a single lane between Stanley Dr. and La Cienega Blvd.
- While this traffic control is in place, all left turn movements within the Wilshire Blvd./La Cienega Blvd. intersection will be restricted.
