The meeting will include a presentation from Metro’s Recovery Task Force on its ongoing efforts to help Metro recover from the pandemic and to improve mobility in Los Angeles County. The public is invited to provide comments on the Recovery Task Force’s work and to learn about next steps for Metro’s recovery plan.
The meeting will be held both in English and in Spanish from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., July 9.

Metro has reduced bus and rail service but is dedicated to keeping our transit system running during the COVID-19 crisis so that we can provide rides to those who need it most, including many workers in vital jobs including health-care, food service, groceries and other key jobs.
In coordination with the L.A. County Department of Public Health and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Metro urges riders to travel only to perform essential activities, which includes commuting to an essential job; visiting a doctor or veterinarian; obtaining medical supplies or medication; grocery shopping for yourself or others; providing care for minors, seniors, dependents and persons with disabilities or other vulnerabilities; legally mandated government purposes and to comply with law enforcement or court orders.
Metro would like to reiterate that the best way for travelers to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 is to wear non-medical face coverings, follow best hygiene practices, sneeze or cough into a tissue or your arm and wash hands frequently with soap and warm water.
