Construction work is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. Friday, December 4, and conclude at midnight on Sunday, December 6, 2020.
Metro will provide a free bus shuttle service to the following rail stations that will be out of service: Harbor Freeway, Vermont/Athens, Crenshaw, Hawthorne/Lennox and Aviation/LAX.
Shuttle buses will run the same train schedule on Friday, December 4 and on Saturday the 5th and Sunday the 6th, every 15 minutes from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and every 20 minutes at other times. Metro recommends passengers plan in advance their commute times and allow extra time.
Regular C Line rail service will continue between Norwalk and Harbor Freeway stations, where passengers will transfer to bus shuttles to continue their trip, and from Aviation/LAX to Redondo Beach stations.
For those planning to go to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), the LAX Shuttle G operated by Los Angeles World Airports will continue to run regular service from its usual stop at Aviation/LAX Station. Other options to LAX include Metro Lines 102, 111, 117 and 232.
