1. Call To Order

Cynde Soto, Chair, called the meeting to order at 12:23 p.m.

2. Discussion: New Steering Committee

The members of the Steering Committee for 2019 – 2020 are Cynde Soto, Kathleen Barajas and Jared Rimer.

3. Action: Approval of August 8, 2019 Meeting Minutes

Jared Rimer motioned to approve the August meeting minutes. Kathleen Barajas seconded the motion. The Steering Committee minutes were approved for the August 8, 2019 meeting.

4. Discussion: Discuss DRAFT September 2019 Meeting Agenda

The committee discussed adding a presentation on Rail and CCTV agents to the agenda. TAP will follow up with the committee for feedback on the TAP wearables. AAC Retreat ideas were discussed.

5. New Business: Raised Subsequent to the Posting of the Agenda

Kathleen Barajas mentioned that the AAC could create flyers.

6. PUBLIC COMMENT

Richard Stanley, member of the public, mentioned that scooters left on sidewalks create obstacles for people with disabilities. Mr. Stanley suggested that a presenter from a scooter company be invited to speak on the subject to the AAC.
